Visipill is a start-up that provides smart dispensers, mobile apps, and smart pill containers that take the hassle out of medication management

Opportunity

Medication management is a hassle. Missing doses, running out of pills, and monitoring adherence to medication routines are common problems. Visipill wanted to solve this problem for the millions of patients struggling to manage their own care.

Solution

We comprehensively designed and built the entire Visipill platform including the pill dispenser, dispenser interface, companion mobile app, and integrations with pharmacy systems.

We provided industrial design, computer and mechanical engineering, creative and user experience design, and product leadership.

With the touch of a thumbprint, Visipill identifies the exact pills needed for that exact person at that exact time. The fingerprint scanner matched to a user to ensure the device distributed the exact medication necessary for the user.

For customers that fall behind on adherence, Visipill engages the care network to provide support patients need to stick with their medication program.

Go-to-Market

Building a channel strategy that partners with pharmacies to white label the platform and allow those pharmacies to create deeper relationships with their customers.
