With the retail environment shifting from in-store to home delivery, Sears created a new company called Shop Your Way to focus on growing its credit card business and loyalty platform independent of Sears retail stores.

Shop Your Way (SYW) engaged us to analyze its existing assets and create a new business and go-to-market strategy.
In partnership with the SYW leadership team, us developed a strategy focused on building a more rewarding value proposition for their credit card business and replacing a decreasing Sears footprint with new digital, retail, and banking partners.
Digital Transformation
Increasing the value of the SYW rewards platform involved the development of a new mobile application to spearhead new ways to stack rewards. Shop Your Way Mastercard® card holders now earn additional rewards through engaging in online commerce and card-linked offers.
MAXimize
Rewards
Rewards were historically linked to Sears products and services. Expanding the reward opportunities was critical and we helped to deliver a first-of-its-kind gift card conversion system so points could be redeemed across a broader spectrum of retailers. With this traction, Shop Your Way looks to push rewards even further with its newest partner, Unifimoney.
Go-to-Market Transformation
Shop Your Way wasn’t resting on its laurels. Sears retail stores had historically provided the majority of new credit card signups. With Sears closing its physical footprint, Shop Your Way needed to replace its new card acquisition.
By creating a white-labeled platform, Shop Your Way was able to replace traffic by quickly deploying its capabilities into new retail partners, digital partners, and regional banks.
